Monitor and Conserve

The impacts of the program thus far have been to join the skills of expert ecologists with local knowledge and expertise, the conservation enthusiasm of KEL, and the mission of KFAS to popularize science and technology.
Despite COVID restrictions we were able to build contacts with ecologists working on eagles in Russia and Kazakhstan, and government environment officials in countries over which the eagles fly. At the same time, international expert ecologists have learned about Al Jahra, and are now better able to be effective members of the project team.
